I’m not really sold on the idea of ebikes. For one I live in a old river bed so riding up hill is how I start any trip, and battery assist is not something urgently missing from my life. That aside – the amount of waste and the carbon/pollution footprint of the battery is something I would worry about as well. *shrug* I suppose its a first step? Maybe an intermediate step? If it gets people out of their cars? I just don’t really know. Call me an agnostic I guess.
