Its been a rainy few days here in Toronto. On top of the usual seasonal downpour we had Hurricane/Tropical Storm/Snowcane Sandy dump winds and rain on us.

We didn’t get hit anywhere near as badly as other places in North America. (Haiti, Cuba, I’m looking at you here. Oh and you too New York, New Jersey.)

But there are probably a few people out there who are put off by a little rain. Well let me tell you – don’t be. Riding in the rain is not significantly more difficult than riding when the weather is slightly nippy. You’ll want some layers maybe. But in general the worst that will happen is you’ll get a little wet.

Just to prove my point here’s a gem from the Seattle Bike Blog on riding in their (obsenely long) rainy season.
